I’m just so giddy that we’re entering my favorite season!! If it wasn’t so hot here in NC right now (and if I didn’t want to look ridiculous), you’d already see me in scarves and boots. And a Pumpkin Spice Latte in my hand. (Can you believe they’re back already??)
I have my eye on a few things that will make Autumn be fabulous in the style department. When we move into the colder months, I tend to gravitate towards blacks, greys, and smokey purples. And this season it’s no exception.
Polka Dot Top | If it has polka dots or stripes, I’m hooked. Cute little collar? Even better! (I avoided opening up the Fall Boden catalogue for weeks! I just want everything in there!)
Quilted Riding Boots | I would love a pair of two-toned riding boots, because there is so much versatility with them. I still regret not snagging these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I love the quilted pattern! And Cole Hann is my favorite “quality vs. quantity” shoe brand. Their shoes are so comfortable and last for a long time!
Pretty Scarf | I have a million scarves already, but I should snag another one 🙂
Eye Shadow Pallet | I love pretty neutrals when it comes to eye shadows. When autumn arrives, my color choices swing from shimmery bronzes to purpley greys. This pallet would be perfect!
Clutch | While a clutch isn’t exactly the most functional bag in the world (can you fit diapers and wipes in one??), I like having pretty small clutches to stash my “mom gear” in to keep it all together in my diaper bag. That way I don’t accidentally smear Butt Paste all over my hands!
Quilted Vest | Every season, I see one. I want one. I just never purchase one. Maybe this will be the year?

I am so ready for fall! I need a good chambray button down for fall…and some black skinnies to go with it. And some burgundy flats. 🙂
I have a feeling that will absolutely be my uniform!! Keep an eye out at Target for the chambray! Seems like in the fall they have quite a few!!
Thanks for the tip, I will do that!
Ahhh I love them all! I am so with you, I’m ready for fall wear, even for the little one! It’s almost more fun dressing her. I have one vest, but I’d love to get a few more colors. And the peter pan collar? LOVE it.
I think you may just see me wearing all polka dots and peter pan collars this Fall! And I’m just resisting buying everything Fall I see for my daughter. Such fun!
Such a cute collection of autumn wardrobe items! I love the quilted boots. I actually got a pair of camel colored boots about two years ago and I wear them constantly in the fall with skinny jeans. And yes, the pumpkin spice latte is back early this year – yay!
I’m just kicking myself I didn’t get these boots when they were on sale!! I have a pair of black boots, but love the look of two-toned boots. Le sigh….
And YAY for the Pumpkin Spice Latte 🙂
I second all or your choices! These are some good ones. I ordered some new cords from J. Crew that recently came in and I’m dying to wear them now. Kentucky is still a little too hot for that though.

I saw a pair of mustard colored cords in Boden that are really tempting. I haven’t worn a pair of cords since HS, but love them when they’re a fun color!
Yes, NC is still too hot as well. But our AC is really cool, so I’m feeling Fall-like when I’m inside 🙂
I really like the boots, the combination of brown and black is great, you can wear them in so many combinations.
When autum arrives, i like to wear a lot of brown shades. Two years ago I also started to wear orange, couldn’t imagine this when I was younger, but now I think it’s a nice bright and warm colour, reminding me of pumpkins. I think one of the first things I will buy for fall, will be new nailpolish. I have my eye on essie #85 choclate cake and essie #69 braziliant or essie roarrrange.
Even if I like the fall season, i still hope that there will a few more warm summer days, because here in Germany we had a very rainy summer and not often the chance to wear sleeveless tops and shorts.
Glad you stopped by!! Definitely agree – something about the change in seasons calls for changes in our colors. I tend to drift towards blacks, purples and mustard yellow (which I know doesn’t actually look great on me, but I like it!). My fall nail polishes are something I’m looking forward to pulling out too!!
Hope you get a few warm days as well! It’s hard when a new season starts up and you haven’t had your fill of the last one!!
Looks lovely 🙂
