Hey Hey! It’s Friday!

Hello hello! Hope you all had a glorious week!

Onward!

1. I am just 1 week from kicking off the Fall version of the 30 Outfits in 30 Days Challenge! I’ve been purging/cleaning out summer clothes and getting things put away, but more on that. I’m also planning next week on a new Fall clothes haul video, so stay tuned. If you’d like to catch up with my last challenge, start with this post. But the main launching event is on Thursday! (FYI, can you believe next week starts October???)

2. Fall! Fall! Fall! (Getting tired of hearing about it yet?) I got into a serious Fall mood this week. The weather here in NC was just so nice and cool, that I couldn’t help it. But Monday I went to Trader Joe’s and snagged some yummy pumpkin treats.

3. And because the weather was so nice, we all snuck out for a hike at the Eno, right by our house.

4. Yesterday I went over to the Durham Life & Science Museum with a friend and her little boy. We had such a lovely time! And since most of that museum is actually outdoors, we got to enjoy the crisp fall air some more.

5. I’m excited for the weekend. We don’t have much planned this weekend, so hoping it will be nice and relaxing. And maybe I can catch up on some magazine reading and do more planning for Elizabeth’s 1 year birthday party.

Let me know what you’ve been up to in the comments below!  Have a great weekend!

I’m excited for the 30×30 challenge! The next time around, I will for sure get in on it. Katie, hold me to this commitment. Friend shame me if you have to. Maybe I’ll do a 30×25 and just do it on the weekdays. (See–the lawyer in me is already planning the exceptions.lol)

My advice for 1st birthday party planning is to not go over the top with it, or you’ll be too miserable to actually enjoy the day. Can’t wait to see how things turn out!

It is! 🙂 I felt so embarrassed at the Trader Joe’s check out line, but the employee ensured me that my haul was quite small (rhyme!) and that there were supposed to be over 60 pumpkin items in the store at some point. Yikes!!!

Ha! There was so much! I was gabbing with a friend the next day, and she had gone to TJ’s, and basically had the same experience buying everything pumpkin in sight, but she got completely different products!

Just shows how much pumpkin TJ has this season. It’s crazy!

Oh yes, Fall mood! The first leaves had fallen down and I just love this smell in the air. I also have been collecting a lot of chestnuts, i like them for decoration, but even more i like the process of collecting. It’s a fall tradition since I had been a child. Now I’m searching for some pumpkin products, but it’s really hard to find them in Germany.
Have a relaxing fall weekend! 🙂

Oooo chestnuts would be fun! I would definitely use them to fill containers or make a cute garland. What a fun medium! I wish you could find more pumpkin products – it’s a sure sign of the changing season here!

      Have a great weekend yourself!!
