What I’m drinking – Peaberry Coffee from Trader Joe’s
Happy Monday! Hope you had a nice weekend!
My parents were in town, so we did some Durham tourist things, which included a visit to the Duke Gardens. It was a wonderful day on Saturday. I even got sunburned. First of the year! We finished our sunny afternoon off at Maple View Farms in Hillsborough. If you haven’t been there, visit! The ice cream is yummy, but I love sitting on the front porch, in a rocking chair, looking at the farmland and rolling hills. Our sweet little girl managed to plant her face in my ice cream cone! Sneaky. She’s too fast!
Husband and I took advantage of having free babysitting, so we went out to eat. We had dinner at Dos Perros. It was taco night there, and we each got a platter of their two vegetarian taco fixings. I love tacos, but I eventually ended up mixing all my toppings together to just eat off the plate. We must have inhaled our food, because we were done after just 45 minutes. Lame. So we decided dessert was in order, so off to The Parlour we went! In hindsight, since there was no line, we should have asked for samples of everything! Husband got the salted butter caramel, and I got the Tea + Cake.
So, anyway, on to the main event! Here’s what we are eating for dinner this week. It’s basically a repeat of a menu a few weeks back. Lame again. For more information on how I menu plan, see my previous blog post!
