It’s Friday!  Woo hoo!

This was a super busy week, but there were some awesome highlights!

1. I had a productive week! *high five* Nothing like have a week where you just keep checking items off your to-do list.  I normally end a week feeling lazy like I could have done better, but not this week!

2. This happens today, and could be the reason I was so productive, but my parents are coming today!  They haven’t seen our little one since Christmas, and she’s changed so much.  It will be fun watching them play with her.

3. The wee one tried some solid food this week, and loved it!  She slobbered all over with a sliced strawberry (and stained EVERYTHING!), and Wednesday night she tried a few chunks of avocado.  Once she actually grabbed it, she immediately started eating it.  We don’t expect her to actually eat the food we give her yet, but it sure is fun to watch her try!  And it makes for a quiet dinner, because she’s so entertained!  Note avocado all the way up to her elbows!

4. We had a trip to Target.  Need I say more?

5. The weather here in Durham FINALLY turned to Spring.  The last few days it’s been flirting around 80.  It’s dangerously looking like Summer weather, though.  And I hate Summer weather!  Can we actually have Spring?  Too much to ask?  At least it’s not spitting snow now.
