I love the monthly favorites posts that pop up at the end of every month. Shoot – even I do them here on the blog and my YouTube channel!
This time, though, I thought it would be fun to do a collection of Elizabeth’s current favorites. She’s 16 months now, and has some clear preferences when it comes to toys and books. I also threw in a few of my Mommy favorites.

Of all the ones mentioned in the video, we ALL love the Pout Pout Fish book! It is just so cute. I’ve even got the cadence down pat, now, and have integrated some amazing voices for all the fish. HA!
The Noah’s Ark set was given to Elizabeth as a gift from Nana. And it’s really is an adorable set. It’s a bit pricey! There are alternatives that are similar and cheaper, but this set in particular is just the cutest! Elizabeth loves pulling all the animals out, making their noises, and the shoving them all back in again. We also try to act out the Bible story by reading one of our (many) Noah’s Ark books and mimicking the story with the set.
I could have taken pictures of her playing with all her toys, but… a boring post that would make…..

I’ve never heard of the Pout Pout Fish book, but it looks adorable! I will have to check it out! Wendy devours books (figuratively) and Micah devours books (literally) so I’m always looking for new favorites. 🙂 Elizabeth’s favorites are so bright and colorful and made me smile!

You are adorable!! I love anything Melissa and Doug and that stackable ring set is lots of fun. I think you may have changed my life with your pant clip tip… I must head to Target ASAP to pick some of those up. Olive’s dresses and bloomers are a mess because the little bloomers don’t stay on the hangers. Thank you thank you for sharing this idea 🙂 Also I’m going to have to suggest that Noah’s Ark set to my MIL because Olive would LOVE it!!
HAHA Thank you, first of all 🙂 And the pant clip – no doubt saved our marriage in those early newborn days. The Noah’s Ark set is just so sweet. It is a good Grandma gift 🙂 There are similar sets on Amazon for less, but this plush set is just so cute!!
That Noah’s Ark set it too adorable! I love dressing my son in sets too. Whenever I buy his clothes I look for whole outfits rather than separates. It makes getting him dressed so much easier.

We don’t know that book… will have to check it out! While Hendrik has his absolute favorites (currently seem to all be ones involving trucks), mom is always ready for some new material 🙂 And that Noah’s ark is adorable – I can see Hendrik sitting for hours taking the animals in and out. Lately we’re into wooden puzzles and coloring, big time, around here.
I wish Elizabeth was into coloring more. I love to color (confession) and it would be so nice and relaxing to do that together!

Anyway, I love all your daughter’s favourites! Especially the Noah’s Ark. Looks so cute with all those animals. My son is 15months old and he also has his favourite books these days! Amazing these little people are 🙂
Isn’t it funny how they can have those favorites at a young age? And the Noah’s Ark is so sweet! There are plenty of other options on Amazon that aren’t as expensive, but this plush set is really sweet.
