Empties #1 | Drugstore Makeup

Drugstore Makeup Empties Video

I’ve been hoarding empties for about 9 months now, and FINALLY got around to filming an empties video. If you’ve never seen an empties video, basically it’s a compilation of all products that have been used up.Β It’s great because it’s a video full of mini reviews!

I managed to hoard SO MANY products that I decided to split them up into two videos: Makeup and Skincare/Haircare. We’re tackling makeup today!

This is 99% drugstore makeup. As much as I want to have a collection of high end makeup, I just never will. There are so many fun things to try at the drugstore that it’s hard to resist!

There are a lot of products here! Enjoy!

Any products I mentioned that you love? Or really don’t like? What products do I need to try next?

YES! I think maybe (just maybe…) skincare is worth the high end price tag, but makeup? Eh, not convinced!

    • Katie @ Cup of Tea says:

HAHA! That’s why these videos can be a problem! I seriously watch them with a notepad to write new products down πŸ™‚ Thanks!

Love these types of videos. Undereye circles are the bain of my existence. I too have been using the Bobbi Brown corrector, but it’s almost out and I’m itching to try something new. I may try the Tarte CC

    • Katie @ Cup of Tea says:

I just HAVE to have a good concealer. It’s the one high end product I’m willing to splurge on. I’ve heard good things about the Makeup 4Ever one!

  2. Jess says:

I have the dark under eye circles too, and they drive me crazy!! You’re always raving about the Bobbi Brown corrector, so I might have to break down and finally try it! It’s so funny how many products you mentioned that I’ve tried too–love those drugstore beauty products! πŸ™‚

    • Katie @ Cup of Tea says:

The correcter is so great! Pricey, but amazing. It really helps with the darkness, but then I usually layer another concealer over top for brightening. It’s all just smoke and mirrors, camouflaging the dark circles πŸ™‚
