Vegetarian California BLTs | From the Archives

I thought since I am currently out of town, and have no need for a Menu Monday, that it would be fun to pull a favorite recipe from the archives.

There are so many new readers here at Cup of Tea (hi!!!) that you may have just missed this one – the vegetarian California BLT.

This sandwich isn’t particularly unique. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if you told me you’ve had something similar. But this is our little family’s twist on a classic.20140609-200241-72161681.jpg

Yum! This is our California BLT sandwich! We use vegetarian bacon, guacamole, sprouts, cucumbers and tomato to make the yummiest sandwich.

Why “California”? Well… we started making it when we were in California. 🙂

You can read the original post for the full recipe! But this sandwich is perfect for the summer, especially with some yummy fresh tomatoes! Sub real bacon in place of the fake if you prefer. 😉

It’s Morningstar Farms brand, so easy to find. And chewy or crunchy, depending on how long you cook. I like them crunchy, especially for the sandwich!
