Welcome to High Five for Friday – hosted by me, BeckyTif, and Della! Come, read up on what we’ve been up to this week and get to know some amazing bloggers.

Remember, you can link up any 3 posts you want – regardless of content! Link up your favorite posts from the week that you want more people to read. Share away! And, of course, if you have a weekly recap post, link that up too! But we want to give you a chance to share your other content from the week.

Here were my favorites from last week!

Chatting Over Chocolate // Five Loves on Friday
Brenda is just one of the sweetest people on the internet. And I loved reading all her sweet moments from Mother’s Day! Especially loved that DIY drive-in movie!

Silex in the City // Friday Best
Loved this fun recap of favorites. Plus, Jess is prepping for her wedding this summer! Hooray!

Polka-Dotty Place // 5 Year Old Wish List
Fun fact – Whitney and I both have 2 kiddos, an older girl and younger boy. And our kids are just a few months apart. So when her daughter, Olive, gets into something, inevitably Elizabeth loves it too! So when Whitney created a wish list blog post for Olive’s upcoming 5th birthday, I pinned it all!

Can’t wait to read some more fun things this week!

Here’s what has been going on around here!

Who got up early to watch the royal wedding?? We did! I loved every moment of it. I actually really enjoy the pre-event coverage just as much as the actual ceremony. I love the anticipation of “when are they coming?”.

I thought Meghan’s dress was beautiful. Plain, but beautiful! That veil was amazing!! And her makeup was so classic. I loved that you could see her freckles.

If you haven’t seen the Bad Lip Reading video, though, you should:

Later that Saturday, my husband and I went out to downtown Durham for the Durham Blues and Brews! We went last year and had a great time, and this year we had high expectations! The music was tons of fun, and the people watching was delightful. The more brews, the better the dancing.

I also can’t believe school is over for the summer already. The kids both had their last days on Wednesday, and it was such a fun day.

We sure will miss our sweet teachers over the summer! But in just a few months, we’ll be back!!

And finally, on Thursday, we celebrated William’s second birthday! It’s hard to believe that this little guy is already two. Where has the time gone? He’s a funny, smily, jolly little guy, loved by so many people. I grabbed the camera on Wednesday and asked him to pose for pictures, and he happily obliged! He cheesed for almost 30 minutes! But we’re so thrilled with this guy. He’s a hoot!

This weekend we’ll be celebrating him with a small family/friends party!

And now, it’s time to link up your posts! Can’t wait to cruise around and see what you all have been blogging about!

After reading today’s post I thought I should do a little scrolling back through your blog, in case I may have missed a post or two of yours in the midst of all the summer activity here. What a fun surprise to come across your kind words when I did! What a day brightener! 😀 Thank you for your sweetness, the feature, and for your friendship! You are a gem, Katie! As always, thanks for co-hosting this link up! I’m so thankful for all the blogging friendships that have come from it! xo – Brenda // ChattingOverChocolate.com
