Sigh.
It’s about to get real up in here.
I’m having one of those weeks (or month?). There really aren’t enough hours in a day, are there?
When I’m really productive in one area, the other things fall behind. Then the next week when I try to catch up, other things die off!
I’m having an amazing two weeks of super productivity when it comes to housework/projects! Checking things off the list! But I’ve been very lazy when it comes to blog-related stuff. I’m normally a “writing for next week!” blogger, but I’m either writing the day’s post on that day, OR seeing the day’s post and thinking “boring!”.
When I saw what was on the blogging calendar for today, I just felt bleh. Unmotivated. Uninterested.
So you just get to read me whine π
This isn’t meant to be a “whoa is me, feel sorry for me” post. Β It’s more of a “please tell me I’m not the only one that goes through days like this?” post.
I know I’m not!
It just feels good to vent sometimes.
And, now, when I feel like I’m having a “fail” week, it’s best to watch others fail:
I feel like this was definitely me last week. I didn’t post as much just because I felt like what I was writing was either boring or just wasn’t translating the way I wanted to. This week has been so much better, though! Hopefully it will be the same for you π
I’m sorry/glad I am not the only one that gets caught in a ditch every once in a while (hope that makes sense!). Glad you’re out of it! I’m sure I’ll bounce back π Fail videos help! haha
Yes, I often feel this way. It’s all such a balancing act. I find if I push myself really, really hard, I can work through it. And when that fails…coffee. Lots and lots more coffee.
HA! Exactly π There’s always caffeine and staying up a few extra hours. It’s hard when there are so many things going on, and you just can’t do it all. It’s hard for this Type A girl.
Definitely not the only one! I’ve felt in a rut for most of the summer. For what it’s worth, I’ve enjoyed your posts, but I know that feeling of not really feeling like posting something you have planned. I’ve skipped posts before too!
Thank you for the encouragement!! Maybe it’s just a summer thing?? But yeah, bleh.
Sorry for the blogging writers block. It seems like something that is completely normal and that most bloggers go through it because I know I do. Let’s celebrate the fact that you are feeling so productive at home and with projects. It’s hard to be superwoman and be extremely productive and on the ball in every area of your life π Although, I do wish for all the planets to align every now and then to have a super week in all aspects of my life! Take care and hope you find your blogging mojo again real soon π
Oh man, if the planets aligned just once a week, you wouldn’t hear me complain about that π It’s true – at least the other balls in the air are doing well! But it would be nice if everything was chugging right along all together.
Thank you for the encouragement, Whitney!!
Your post made me lol. I’ve been there, done that. I’m always here to brainstorm with if you need someone:)

Well an LOL is a win in my eyes π I appreciate that! We should do a little brainstorm sesh’!!
Just a normal part of the writing process… At least you’re getting things written! I am thinking I need to really schedule a time because there’s always “just one more thing” I could do with our home. Along the same lines, looking up Pinterest fails also bring me levity when I’m not feeling very accomplished. π
Pinterest fails are awesome, too! I was wanting to tackle a few cool Pinterest things, but was thinking I might add to the Fail list π
Scheduling time is great (in theory), but then I feel like I “failed” because the scheduled time arrived and I was doing something else!
