Happy Monday! We enjoyed such glorious, sunny, classic Fall weather around our parts that I’m kind of sorry to see Monday here so soon. I want more weekend!
It seemed fitting after last week’s normal week that we should have a normal Menu Monday. One that’s chocked full of warm, satisfying, cozy comfort foods. It’s finally cool around here, and my tummy is hankering for tasty foods! You’ll see several mushroom recipes this week. I bought a large container of mushrooms at Costco last week, and when you’ve got ’em, use ’em!
I’ve also been watching The Great British Bake Off series that’s on Netflix (there is also one finishing up on PBS), and I’m now itching to do some baking. I bought a British Bake Off cookbook several years ago, before even watching the show, and it’s a fascinating book. I’m thinking about pulling it out and trying my hand at a few British dessert classics. We’ll see… I may just settle for good ol’ fashioned chocolate chip cookies instead 😉
Anyway, on to the menu! As always, for more information on how I menu plan, look at this.

I have to try so hard this time of year not to fill my entire menu with comfort food! 🙂 Love your Sunday pizza tradition!
HAHA! YES! I think I mentioned before that I miss comfort foods so much over the summer that I go over board in the Fall/Winter! But come January, I’ve usually calmed down 🙂
MMmmmmm I am not heading over to check out that curry recipe. Everything sounds perfect.
That curry recipe is so yummy! We still have a little left over, too. Need to freeze it!
Ummm can I just move into your kitchen? Please?! Pretty Please?!
