Welcome to High Five for Friday – hosted by me, Tif, and Della! Come, read up on what we’ve been up to this week and get to know some amazing bloggers down below!
Today’s featured blogger is Lisa from Coast to Coast! She’s an East coast girl living on the West coast and loves sharing all the fun things she tries! Her recipes, everyone. Those are a MUST read! Especially these SUPER easy ghost cookies. Aren’t they adorable? Go over and say hi!
How was your week? How is it Friday already??
1. We had a fun weekend full of friends and laughter! We had friends over after church on Saturday and it was SUCH a good time! We all got to eat some delicious food, potluck style, and our kids all played well together. I even found myself at one point sitting on the deck, enjoying the Fall weather, chatting with friends while the kids frolicked in the back yard. A win!
2. One of our new traditions around here is having afternoon tea and snack instead of watching something. It’s tons of fun and it’s a chance for Elizabeth and I to chit chat and be silly. She gets to pick music and we sit, sing and sip. It’s fun! You should try it in your house!
3. William turned 5 months on Monday! Holy moly! When did that happen?? Both kids had check ups on Tuesday and they are only 10 lbs apart! HAHAHA! Also, funny enough, William is 30% for weight but only 6% on height, while Elizabeth is 30% in height and 6% in weight. Exact opposites. Next week I’ll have some posts dedicated to a William and Elizabeth update!
4. I managed to squeeze in a 5 month picture update for William (poor kid is missing month 3 and 4… oops!) but he was more interested in what Elizabeth was up to!
5. We’ve had beautiful Fall weather around here! One morning, while William slept, Elizabeth and I headed out to the back yard to collect leaves. This child loves collecting! Give her a bucket and an item and she’s collecting for hours. So handy!
What was your highlight from the week? Can’t wait to hear about it!

Happy 5 months, William!
I love your afternoon tea tradition. So sweet!
I love it too! It helps to even slow me down and just to savor some quiet time with Elizabeth.
Well your tea parties in the afternoon sound so sweet❤️. When we lived in VA and our kids were little we had trees with TONS of acorns. My husband made the mistake of telling our daughter (who was pretty young at the time) he’d give her a penny for every acorn she picked up. (thinking she’d do like 100) That little booger got a grocery bag and he ended up owing her FIFTEEN DOLLARS…not only did she pick them up, she proceeded to count them. A favorite story and memory!
Thanks so much for allowing me to be your featured blogger this week!❤️❤️❤️
Hahahaha what a little entrepreneur!! Amazing! There is no way I’d have that kind of stamina. I’m kind of wishing we had some acorns to send Elizabeth out there 😉 have a great weekend!
Tea time sounds so fun! What a great idea! What was the name of the tea that you shared in the IG Story? I know it was vanilla something and I think Paris was in the name, but I can’t remember! It sounded really good!
5 months old already? Time sure does fly!
It was Harney & Son’s Paris Tea… essentially black tea blended with vanilla. Tastes like black tea but smells AMAZING!!
I love your tea time tradition! My grandparents have afternoon tea every day during the winter. I always love visiting them during “tea” season!
How adorable are your kids?! I love that you have tea time. 🙂
I’m a brand new follower and this is my first time linking up with you ladies. Looking forward to reading more.
Feel free to come visit me. Who knows, maybe I could be your cup of tea? Have a great weekend!
Those states are hilarious. It’s funny how different siblings can be…
Look at those cutie pies! Ahhh the love the little brothers have for the big sisters is so sweet at that age. They are so fascinated with the bigs! My son still is and he is four and she is nine. I love the tea parties, I checked it out on Instagram.
Afternoon tea, what a great idea!! Elizabeth looks like she’s having a blast! And I can’t believe that she and William are only 10 lbs apart, how funny! Hope you guys have a great weekend!
