Rachel from Garay Treasures - Featured Blogger this week on H54F!This week’s featured blogger is Rachel from Garay Treasures!!ย She’s a SAHM mom to four and blogs about lifestyle and fashion (her fashion posts are my favorite!!). ย I follow her on Instagram and basically double tap every OOTD pic! Rachel also hosts the “Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me” link up every Tuesday. I love combing through the other blogs and get a chance to meet new people. ย Be sure to swing by and say hi to Rachel!!

1. Yay! It’s Friday! Hope you all had wonderful weeks. I’m currently on vacation now in my childhood hometown, Columbus, OH! This whole week was basically preparing to go on vacation…. you almost had a weekly vlog of nothing but me doing laundry and cleaning toilets. So since that was likely the entire content, I decided to skip the weekly vlog this week ๐Ÿ™‚

2.ย Last week I asked the question “Would you buy a $200 pair of sunglasses?” and it was the best chat here on the blog and on IG! I really enjoyed reading all of your responses! So thank you for the thoughts. For the record, I decided to keep the sunglasses, and they are amazing! I’m just guarding them with my life ๐Ÿ™‚

4. I’ve had this picture saved forever, but here’s something comical! I noticed on my Netflix home page they had these suggestions for Kimmy Schmidt…

5. ย I put Elizabeth in the funniest onesie from my sister, who lives in Chicago. She posed with her belly jutting out like she had gobbled up 5 Chicago style hot dogs.

  1. Andrea at The Pineapple Cake says:

I binged watched the entire season of Kimmy Schmidt again last weekend and it was just as good as the first time.
I love how Baby Sitters Club and I escaped a CUlt are in the same suggested titles. I would probably watch both of those. ๐Ÿ™‚
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

  2. Megan says:

Those Netflix suggestions are hilarious and that picture of Elizabeth is so cute–she does look like she just won a hot dog eating contest. Yay for the glasses. They look great on you.

  3. Rachel says:

Thank you so much for featuring me and for your kind words, what am honor. I need to check your glasses post out to see what you kept. Personally I am not the type to fork up past $20 for a pair of sunglasses as I have a tendency of losing them or they get broken in my purse (I carry bricks in my massive bags I guess, haha). Elizabeth’s onesie is too cute. That is the name of my youngest daughter. Cute!

  4. Brenda says:

Loving those beautiful shades, girl! (…& don’t blame you for guarding them with your life – lol :)) The snapshot of Elizabeth is too funny and her pose couldn’t be more appropriate in that onesie! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Teehee! Hope you’re enjoying a great vacation! xo – Brenda // Chatting Over Chocolate

  5. Jess says:

LOVE the sunglasses! Since I don’t wear contacts, I can never just buy sunglasses off the rack or switch up my sunglass choices–my prescription ones are like a four year commitment! So I’m living vicariously through you, which is a ringing endorsement for you keeping them ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Jaelan says:

Yay! I’m glad you kept the sunglasses.
Expensive sunglasses are hard to swallow, but I think they’re totally worth it. At the risk of sounding spoiled, you can totally tell the difference. I’m glad you’re loving them!
I have been on the search for some Maui Jims… I’ve been looking for years, actually. Once I found that none would fit my face, I just started looking for ANY alternative. Apparently, I have high cheekbones and that causes practically every pair of sunglasses to rest on my cheeks (hot and annoying!…. plus it rubs makeup off). I finally found a pair of Versace sunglasses that DIDN’T hit my cheeks. They were literally the only pair in the store that didn’t. The price was scary, but I think they’re totally worth it.

  7. Whitney says:

I’m so glad you’re keeping the sunglasses!! I don’t think you’ll regret it. That picture of Elizabeth is adorable…I do believe she inherited some of your goofiness! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks so much for hosting the linkup! Have a lovely weekend. <3

  8. Colleen says:

Happy Friday! ๐Ÿ™‚ Loved your May Favorites video, and love the picture of Elizabeth! Enjoy your weekend and vacation time!

  9. Ashley says:

Oh, Netflix! They seem to have a strange way of coming up with recommendations! Ha ha! I am glad you kept the sunglasses! They look great! I also love that onesie on Elizabeth! So cute!

  10. Abby says:

I cracked up at the Kimmy Schmidt listing on Netflix when I first saw that too. They are so clever. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The sunglasses look GREAT on you! Definitely worth keeping. I’m stopping by your favorites next…

    Happy Friday!!

    xo Always, Abby

    • Katie @ Cup of Tea says:
