Quick Family Dinner Favorites | Menu Monday

Some nights you just don’t feel like cooking what you have planned on your menu. Those are nights where I have a hard time resisting the siren’s call to go out to eat. We really shouldn’t go out to eat, and let’s face it, going out to eat with kids becomes harder than just staying home. To keep me from falling to temptation, I like to keep on hand ingredients for quick and easy meals!

Breakfast for dinner is always my go-to when I don’t feel like making anything. I’m trying to get better and keeping a stash of frozen veggies in the freezer. I usually feel like if I don’t have any sort of vegetables to work with it’s a loss cause.

That California BLT looks tasty, although, not being a fan of cucumber I would sub tomato. Now I’m hungry! Ha.

I followed you here from Come Home For Comfort. I’d love to have you visit my blog, LifeWithDee.com. One of my favorite quick dinners is homemade tomato soup (recipe on blog) and either grilled cheese sandwiches or quesadillas.

Yum…I think I could eat at your house every night and I’d be a happy camper. 🙂 I grabbed a $6 large take and bake pizza from Aldi over the weekend and it was SO good. That’s going to be a standard weekend treat at my house!

I love seeing what others do in a pinch. BLT’s are always a huge hit at my house. ESPECIALLY in the summer when I have garden tomatoes. Bonus points if there is avocado too!
