This week you get to take a peek inside my travel makeup bag! I filmed this JUST after returning home from a trip for Easter, and knew I had to show you all what I packed.
When I was a seasoned business traveler, my toiletries and makeup fit in only the blue tote with room to spare… now I’m hauling a little more. But it’s still simple and streamlined! I might bring a few more hair products than I used to, but I’m ok with that. HA!
If you missed the peek inside my handbag, you can catch up on that video too!
And if you didn’t realize I had a YouTube channel, swing by to check out other videos and subscribe!
Are you an overpacker? Or keep it simple? Let me know!

This was a fun post, Katie. I’m going to have to watch it again with a pen and paper and jot some of the products down to try. I’m not good about buying travel size products (we don’t travel by air much), so I just take all my “normal size” stuff. Having a bag that stays packed probably saves you time packing and unpacking! Thanks for sharing.
Katie, I’ve been wondering, how do you film your videos? With a DSLR and a tripod? They are always so crisp and beautiful! In other news, I just got back on the retainer bandwagon, so seeing yours cracked me up. Solidarity! And I have a Belif sample from Sephora too and LOVE it, especially the scent!!
The scent of that lotion – I wish that was in a perfume form!!! It’s amazing! I’m such a retainer nerd. Always have been! I actually feel guilty if I go the night without putting it in. Haha! And yes I use a camera and tripod! (But in my ignorance…. I think it’s a DSLR camera…..) it’s also our sunroom. So there is a TON of light in there which also helps!!
Another great video! hate when I forget my contact case. THere’s nothing worse. Especially when you’re in a place where everything closes by :/ I have been trying to keep my to-go toothbrush in my case though.

I used to be an overpacker until I had Jude, now I overpack for him and feel like I basically need nothing. haha My, how motherhood changes things!
So cute! Since I don’t wear makeup, my little old lipstick which I do wear, fits nicely in my clutch so no need for a makeup bag! Always love your videos.
Keep it simple! Thank you!
Great tips, Katie! I’m a terrible overpacker. I just returned from a trip and bought even more face stuff so that bag was super stuffed when I got home!!!
I enjoy your chipper personality!
Haha I’m guilty of coming home with more too.
